The Dreamscapes series and the creation process.

The Dreamscapes series are evocative of dream scenes that haunted me. I wanted to obtain a photographic effect, but at the same time, I wanted to bring in the effects I had developed with the Magma series (see here). Thus, I photographed each of the elements that I wanted to introduce into the dream landscapes, and also most of my graphic works, and then I deconstructed everything digitally until I obtained small fragments of just a few bites. With these, I built new beings and new forms.

Some of the Dreamscapes have been part of the travelling exhibition The Fantastic Image, curated by Carlos Arenas and organized by the Museum Consortium, which could be seen at the CCC — Centro del Carmen (Valencia, May 2013) and at Lonja del Pescado (Alicante, July 2013). The following year it was exhibited at Sala Kubo-Kutxa Aretoa (San Sebastián, 2014).
